...okay, so please forgive me...
I am stressed to the max, have a zillion things to do, and am just generally not in the sunniest of moods. So any sort of "deep" post or "fun" post is probably out of the question. I promise to be back to myself upon returning from Tahiti!
So, for now, we have this:
On the to-do list tonight, we've got shopping for last minute needs, as well as a few odds and ends for Chris. I also have two more loads of laundry to wrap up. This will be our evening.
Luckily, we had a "celebration" at work tonight, complete with champagne, shrimp, etc. So, no cooking dinner for me. Halalulah!!!! The celebration was for our company meeting one of its Milestone Goals, which was $400 million in assets. We stopped working at 4:00 and mingled and ate. Would have been a lovely affair, had I not a huge ass newsletter to get done by Thursday!
Speaking of which, this 16 page newsletter has now turned into 20 jam-packed pages. My lovely design will now be a rush design, crammed with things no one will read, and will no longer be a "portfolio piece"...ah, well. Such is life as a graphic designer!
I'm off to workout now...I think a little bit of sweat and expelled energy may just do me some good at this point!!!!
Before signing off, please keep my grandma in your thoughts...she went into the hospital today to have surgery on her esophogus. They discovered two large sacs attached to the bottom of her esophogus, that have been collecting food, etc. Not the easiest of surgeries for a 75 year old lady...

Oh my ... big prayers for your Grandma right now. I hope all works out. :)
Prayers for your grandma, Kelley. Let us know as soon as you hear how she is doing!
Sorry to hear that the newsletter is turning into a BOOK! Geeze I sure hope that someone reads that monster cover to cover on the flight! I know you have been working hard on it and I am sure it will be wonderful when it is done.
Hope your shopping is successful tonight!
Grandma gets all our thoughts and prayers...keep me posted.
Definitely be praying for your Grandma.
Your "book" will be nice! I'm sure you'll make it look as good as it can possibly look.
Sorry you're stressed, but hey, you get Tahiti!!!
