one wish

Effer Dare #7 is to scrapbook about one thing you'd wish for. I haven't worked on this page yet, but this post will serve as my inspiration! Instead of taking a serious stance on this dare, I plan to do a fun theme...my wish for a custom, organized, beautiful walk-in closet!

I love closets. Have since I was a little girl! I would set up play areas IN my closet and spend hours in there. My closet these days is a little more grown up, but I still spend a lot of time in there. And because of this, I display a lot of my very favorite things behind that door. I love walking in and feeling enveloped by ME, enveloped by happy things. I have photos on the walls, little trinkets, love notes. Even an adorable little pink and green rag rug. My own personal little space.

Except it's so small. And so hard to keep clean and organized because there is so much stuff in there!!! And it's hot, and the lighting is awful :)

I long for the day when I can have a bigger closet, and one that can be fully customized to my needs. Rows of matching boxes, all with labels defining their contents. Adorable little cubby holes for all of my shoes. Different levels for hanging things, matching wooden hangers. Cheerful paint on the walls, rugs, a little island table with drawers. All in crisp, clean white wood...love how pure that feels. Maybe even a nice window, so fresh sunlight can pour in.

Mmmmm!

I can see it all in my head...wouldn't it be lovely!? When I have a spare $6,000 laying around, that baby is mine :)
