Nope! You can't stop me from using this adorable tote as a purse! :)
I saw this tote in the Old Navy ad of the Sunday paper...it was in cream, with brown handles and a red lining. I thought it was cute, and have been wanting a bigger purse. My current one makes me feel so cramped, and nothing fits in it! So I talked Chris into heading to Old Navy one day at lunch, to see how big of a tote it was. It ended up being a little bigger than I had planned, but I still loved it. And though it's a little unorthodox, I decided to still use it as a purse! And they only had it in black, which was fine by me...that's what I really wanted anyway!
You should see all the goodies I can fit in this sucker!!! In addition to my normal stuff, I've got:
:: a small umbrella
:: a novel
:: snacks
:: a disposable camera
:: a medium sized notebook for organizing all my "projects"
I'm so thrilled!
I do think this is a sure sign of me getting older, though. I remember the tiny little red purse that I just adored...I used it not too long ago, maybe 3 years? Had my wallet, my lipsticks, and my car keys, and that's all I ever carried. Look at me now! Anyone wanna go to the movies with me?? I can smuggle in ALL kinds of yummy snacks now! :)

I like it! Its cute! I'm at work and just finished painting the border of our pinboard to put up in the office. I have this desire to scrap book the photo's inside it. Maybe if I get a chance tomorrow...

I'm all about some big purses. Then I like small ones too. I go between the two. I'll carry a big one for awhile, then get tired of it and carry a small one. Like today I have a small one-my wallet won't even fit! I have my checkbook and other essentials: like lipstick!!
I love your new bag/purse! It will be strange seeing you carry t his baby around after seeing your tiny red purse you use to carry. :) Let's go to the movies sista! I will buy the snacks to smuggle in your big ol' purse!
