Two pages done this weekend, that's two more than usual!! { again, the red border is not a part of the layout...just the background I took the photo on }



I am pretty pleased with this one. This one totally looks like me and my style. It's good to try to push the creative envelope sometimes and step outside your style a bit (like in the Starbucks layout below)...but it is always good to come home to what feels perfectly RIGHT for you...

This is a photo of my paternal grandfather, in 1940. It's unbelievable how young he looks! So fresh in the world. My grandpa sent this photo to me in 2000, and I've been wanting to scrap it ever since. Have just been waiting until I "felt" it, so that it would be a good layout. He wrote all of the journaling details on the back of the photo, which I just love. Made my journaling job that much easier!
