grrrr!

Remember that cool necklace that I bought in Tahiti, and posted about awhile back? The huge black beads on the pink ribbon???

I was so thrilled to find that necklace in Tahiti, because I had never seen anything quite like it here in the States. I was thrilled that I would have something unique!

And then what do I discover a few weeks after returning from Tahiti????

Yes. You've got it. Target has started selling the exact kind of necklaces! (see photo above taken from their website). They've got them in different colors, and most of them are on ribbons. Oh my god, I was pissed!!!! So much for being an original! So now it appears that I am just "on the bandwagon" with this little trend (see post below for more on that train of thought!)

I guess now the only consolation I have is that Target is selling their's for $22.oo, and I got mine for only $5! So nah!!!!!
