christmas fun

The "to-do" list had quite a bit scheduled for Wednesday evening, but most of it was a lot of fun...good times! On deck, we had the building of the gingerbread house with Aspen...preparing the candy and giftwrapping for our co-worker gifts, to be handed out Thursday...wrapping the few presents I have to mail off tomorrow...and wrapping two gifts for Aspen's teachers for her class party tomorrow...

The gingerbread house was totally worth the $10 Chris paid for it. He and Aspen had a lot of fun building it together while I made up some Kibbles and Bits for our co-workers. Took quite a lot of pictures of the process and the end result, but here are a few of my favorites...

Aspen and Chris proudly holding their work of art...

Their beautiful creation...it turned out so cute!!!

And we can't forget the "Baber" sign out front!

These are the adorable little tins I found at Target (yes, in the $1.00 bins, my favorite place!) to hold the Kibbles and Bits for work. Bought them in pink, red, and green. Bought up every last one of them! With the candy inside in a little plastic bag tied closed with a coordinating ribbon, it all turned out very cute. Now we just have to figure out how to get 15 of them to work in the morning!!

And yes, my to-do list is all marked off for today, and as you can see it is 11:43 pm....WAY past my bedtime...so off I go...

p.s. keep reading...there's another post below!

Love the gingerbread house too. Good bonding session for Father and Daughter. Aspen is such a gorgeous little thing! She is going to be a heartbreaker one of these days.
