This is our paint color throughout the house. A nice beige color. Not too much "putty" color in it, not too much brown in it. I believe it's called "Bagel"...just right. Soothing. I love it. And then the crisp white trip and ceilings. Yum.
They've begun our front archway...it's looking pretty good so far. It's interesting how they do it...they put the arch shaped form in there and just build around it. Then knock the form out. They promise us that this is the correct stone. She said that when they get completely done, they "acidize" it and that brings more of the color out.
As for the cabinet debaucle...this is what we're trying right now. Lightening the cherry to kind of a chocolate color. We'll see how it turns out. They have quite a bit of work ahead of them, in doing this. I hope it looks good. Otherwise, we will be two very unhappy people.
And then there's Aspen's bedroom...lime green walls!! She was a little bummed that she was the only bedroom that didn't get a bay window...so, we decided that to boost her bubble a bit, we'd let her paint her room a fun color. A color of her choice. First she was going for a blue color, but then at the last minute she decided on this lovely lime green! I LOVE it! Of course, it's my favorite color :) Aspen LOVES it...and Chris does too! It will be a fun room...

LOVE out outside lanterns!!!! We have two on the back side of the house, and then two will be on the front arch when it's done.
A smathering of lighting we picked out. This shows the bathroom vanity lights (one set over each sink), the outside porch lights, and the closet/pantry lights. Picking out lighting was NOT easy. We spent two whole evenings doing it, AND had to resort to the internet for our kitchen lighting. Abilene doesn't have a ton to choose from...
And our tile has been delivered...though he's waiting to start until they get done fixing the cabinets...
No word on our house selling...SELL dang it, SELL!!! We're getting down to the wire!!!!!!

You guys are going to have such a beautiful home! I'm digging the green walls in Aspen's room as well. I"m all about some color on the walls.

Yeah!! Loved seeing the Casa pictures! Things are looking great. Got to love that lime green paint in Aspen's room! I think any girl would kill for a cool colored room like that!
