Decorating our new house was so fun this year! Our tree turned out beautifully. Mimi even put the lights on the tree for me, and that made my whole day! I hate putting the lights on. It's the absolute worst thing. We really need to buy a tree that has permanent lights on it...maybe next year. At any rate, I was spared from it this year, and was able to enjoy putting on the beads and the ornaments...
Our front door...the red star above looks so pretty with the sunlight coming through it.
The entry way...moved the little table in there from the living room, to make room for the tree. Over it we hung our new Christmas Card holder...can't wait to see it filled up with all those great cards we get this year!! (and yes...we HAVE already received one!!)
Our mantle...which is really "in progress". Still need to find stocking hangers so we can hang those, but here is what we've got on the mantle thus far...love my little Christmas knome!!!
Bought this cute red "flair" at Pier One and wasn't sure what to actually do with it. I think my solution was pretty cute! Sure perks up the paper towels!
These are some hangers I bought after Christmas last year, so I was excited to use them. I love decorations that look old...that have the clear glitter on them to give them that special quality...
There are other random goodies throughout the house, but I think this will give you a good idea!! Tomorrow I think I'll do a little post on my favorite ornaments and the meaning behind them...so many good ornaments!

Your home is so beautiful!!! LOVE everything. I've got some decorations out around the house, but have to wait until Saturday for the tree and some of the other stuff-it's out in storage!
