Tonight was the first basketball game of this season. It was a pre-season tournament game, and whew. It's their first year with fast break, and it was apparent that it was a much different game. The girl's team is called the Nightmare, and that's kind of what the game turned out to be with a score of 30 - 8. Us being the 8. Lots to work on at practice, and lots for Chris to work on with her at our hoop.
Took some group photos at work today for a calendar...I think the quality of our camera is decreasing after we've used it so incredibly much. My photos just aren't coming out crisp like they used to. Maybe a setting got off somewhere. I need to look into it.
Got a nice little "pick me up" when I returned from lunch today...a little blue post-it note with a big fancy smiley face on it, and the encouraging words, "Keep smiling!" Thank goodness for Ms. Kim. I taped it up on my cubicle wall so I can see it everyday.
Tomorrow night is bunko!!!! Can't wait. I am very fond of the prize I'm taking, so you know what that means...
My mom was off work today, and it only took me until about 11:00 to remember that! I had sent her two emails, and had then emailed her again asking if she had gotten those two. Then it dawned on me. It was a lonely day without her!!! Hope she had a good day off with my granny, shopping and lunching!
Need to wrap up my evening...
