another day

Just had to share this one...doesn't it look like he's missing his dentures??? Ha!!

:: The Christmas Crop was so fun! I got so many goodies, I can't even begin to tell you about them all. The thing I was most excited about was this! I've been wanting one of these for our wedding photos (since it's our wedding colors!), but haven't been able to find one. She found an 8x8 album for me, and I plan to put our favorites in here. Needless to say, the preplanning I'm doing for the actual wedding scrapbook itself is getting out of hand. It's becoming more of a scrapbook album series!!! I'm already up to 97 pages!!! I'll be working on this until I'm 80! Anywho, that is what I did most of the day. No scrapbooking, just figuring out page layouts and photo sizes. After 8 hours of working on my laptop and drawing thumbnails, I felt like I had been at work all day long. Felt a little weary. Plus, I sort of went into "work mode", which means I was concentrating and tuning everything around me out. So I don't think I was as social as I could have been! I still had fun though. Lots of fun games, good food, great friends, and just a lovely day.

:: Crazy week at work this week...we're having a sales meeting for our managers, so they'll all be in the office for days. Which always brings about last minute requests. We expect it so it makes it a little easier to swallow. And Thursday is our End of Year Party...this year we are having a Jamaican theme. I found Chris and I the perfect clothes to wear, I'm excited. Mums the word until I can post pics of us all dressed up. Granted, it's a very casual party, shorts, flip flops, etc. I wanted to try to do something Jamaica though... :)

:: The "photo Christmas card" count is up to 9 already!! Woo hoo!! We've even gotten a couple Christmas letters...love those!

:: More blinds woe...I think these blinds were doomed from the day we thought of them. I'm very very tempted to just call the guy up, have him come remove them all, give us all of our money back, and call a different company. We are STILL waiting on our correct two garage blinds. They are the wrong color and style. I've left over 8 messages with them, and never got a call back. I called today and actually got a live person. He was full of excuses that I didn't care to hear. On top of it all...the big blind in our office fell off the wall yesterday. !!!! Chris pulled on the string to pull it up a bit so he could dust the windowsill...and the whole damn thing fell off the wall. The blinds Gods are against us...

:: I think I'm going to retreat to my bed and do a little reading in my new camera manual...lots to learn!!
