:: Lots of eating out...Wing Stop (yum, lemon pepper wings), Taco Bueno (my compromise because I'm a Taco Bell girl), Cici's Pizza (ate way too much), TaMolly's (yummy sweet tea with a lime wedge)...
:: Attempted to spend my Dillards gift card today on a black suit for work...that was a bust. BUST. Finally found a jacket that fit and was flattering, but then was unable to find pants that I liked to match. I'm not a fan of the generic pants without pockets on the butt, that have to be covered with the jacket. I'd like to be able to wear the pants without the jacket sometimes. So, lots of time in a dressing room and no luck. Will go back and get some other clothes for work, just not a suit.
:: Returned a shirt that Chris had gotten for Christmas and got a tie in exchange. Very dapper, it's actually purple with a thin light blue and navy blue diagnol stripe. Would never have picked it for him, sometimes he does still surprise me!
:: Feeling very inspired lately, Chris and I both. So much we want to do. We want to really work on our photography skills, enter some contests (we entered one this weekend!), etc. I want to get rolling on our wedding scrapbooks. I worked some tonight on getting the photos sized. Still lots to do. Wanting to scrapbook.
:: Returned the robe that Mimi got me for Christmas (it's insane, but both Mimi and my mom bought me robes in the exact same shade of light pink, how likely is that??), and got the new Carrie Underwood cd instead. Have listened to it once, and it seems really good.
:: Eating pistachios right now...they always remind me of my Uncle Steve...
:: Did a major spring cleaning on my scrapbook supplies this morning...Aspen now has a big ole bag of stuff to play with. Purged the stuff I know I will never use, and got things a little better organized. I have so much stuff it is ridiculous. I need to be scrapping!!!
:: Spent part of my gift card at Express...bought two new shirts for work. Still have some money left, and since their work pants don't fit me (one size is too tight, the size up is too big), I think I will try on some of their jeans. I'm looking for a nice, flattering pair of jeans that has ZERO stretch in them. I hate that so many jeans have the stretch now. By the end of the day, my jeans has stretched so much I'm constantly pulling them up, I hate that!
:: Spent my Books a Million gift card today too...got Chris and I the "Five Love Languages" book by Gary Chapman. I think it will be a good one for us to go through together. Also got "Dogs of Babel" or something like that, it sounded interesting.
:: Best part of all??? Although it is Sunday evening, it's technically like a Friday night for us!!!! We still have two days left, so a full weekend to go!!! Yay!!! Will probably do laundry and grocery shop Monday, and take down the Christmas stuff. And then Tuesday we can relax some more!
:: Going out to dinner with friends New Year's Eve...and maybe bowling or a movie or game night or something. The "party and get drunk" scene doesn't really do it for us anymore. Yep. We're old! However you spend yours, be safe!!

My husband and I read the "Five Love Languages" before we got married. It really taught us what type of love language we had as individuals. Very interesting. I hope you and Chris find it as helpful in your relationship as we did.
