all over the place

:: Not to dwell, just to state a motivating fact (to me): 31 days of clean eating under my belt!!! That's one month down. I started on July 21st. Seems like I have been eating this way for a very long time...

:: The Olympics are great, we are really enjoying them this year. Some of them are so heartbreaking though. The chinese hurdler who was in too much pain to run and walked off the track. The two sprinters being disqualified for running out of their lane. Lolo Jones hitting the second to last hurdle and not getting a medal. Nastia Liukin tying for first on the bars, and getting silver by barely anything. It's so exciting for the winners, but do you ever think about these others? So much hard work and dedication over the last how many years...that dream is over, it's crushed, they watched the medals slip through their fingers. That makes me sad.

:: Had a weird afternoon...everything was going along smoothely and then everything seemed to explode all around me. My phone was ringing off the hook, as soon as I hung up, it would ring again. My phone rarely rings, and I like it that way! Nothing major, but whew...I was happy for 5:00 to arrive.

:: I 'think' I have all of our 2004 scrapbook pages completed now!! That makes me want to really get them organized in order of date, and buy some nice albums to display the final, finished sequence. I love the American Crafts D-ring albums. I used them for our 2 wedding scrapbooks, and you can fit so many pages in them. Plus, they lay flat and are easy to organize (I hate those stupid posts and hinges!) I just looked and they do come in 8.5x11, so I need to see about getting a few of them. I would love for all of my 'finished' albums to be the same style and color. What are the chances of them not making the album anymore after awhile? I can't afford to get 30 albums all at once! :)

:: Well, since I'm feeling in the organizing mood, I believe I will go get started on a bit of that. That's just the kind of nerd I am!
