pampered chef

Tonight was Kim's Pampered Chef party...we had a fun time! The consultant is crazy and fun, I get a kick out of her.

I browsed through the catalog a few times, trying to decide what I wanted to order. Going into the party, I had two things that I wanted: a spritz bottle that I can put olive oil in and use instead of Pam spray, and a masher.

I finally found the spritz bottle on my 4th flip through. Yay! I've looked around town, and haven't been able to find one, so I was happy that Pampered Chef had one. As for the masher, though, it was only sold in a set with 3 other utensils that I didn't want. So I'll just get a masher here in town.

Instead, I decided to purchase this:

The food chopper. Very excited to try this out. I've always wanted one, so I decided now was the time to go for it. This will alleviate some of my chopping time for sure...

The consultant always makes a little something while she's demonstrating all of the tools and gadgets...tonight, we had mini cheeseburgers. They way she did it was interesting. She spread the hamburger out flat on a stone, and baked it for about 12 minutes. Then cut it with a pizza cutter into small squares. Took hot dog buns and cut both ends off, leaving her with a little square bun. Add a pickle and a small square of cheese, and there you go. They were pretty tasty...

As for the clean eating, I appreciate that Kim had some delicious fruit salad there along side the brownies and chips and cheese puffs. She looks out for me...that's my girl! I enjoyed the hamburger minus the bun and the cheese, and all was good...

I look forward to my stuff arriving so I can try it out!

I think you are going to love the chopper! We have used ours a ton! I'm glad you got to come to the party. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the fruit salad as well. I did have you in mind when making the snacks! :)

Hope you have a great Thursday!

I make a salad for lunch every single day, and I spend about 15 minutes of my lunch period chopping all my veggies (they are ridiculously elaborate, superfood salads), and my lunch buddy is usually finished with her lunch before I start!
I've never heard of that chopper thing, but I NEED one! I'm going to search online today!!
