tradition

Today, we did our fifth annual photo shoot with Kim's family...it's so hard to believe it's been five years! I love that we have this tradition. It's a good way for us all to spend some quality time together, and it affords the opportunity to get some good family shots with another family that understands our excitement about taking photos.

Another thing I love is being able to look back and see how we've all changed and grown each year. It's a wonderful documentation of our life from year to year...

Ha! Like I'm going to show you the new photo! You'll have to wait for the Christmas card for that one... :)

This year, we went to two of the local college campuses to get some outdoor shots. The temperature was perfect, but whew, it was windy windy WINDY. Aspen and I attempted to wear our hair down for about half of the photos, and then finally gave up. It was flying every which direction. I think we've got a good selection of shots to choose from...maybe a handful that are possible 'Christmas card material'...so, a productive day!

Kim and family, I hope you have some good shots of your family on your camera! And thank you for being a part of this each year with us. It is truly a tradition that I love!
