weekend & coming week

Our weekend was a good one...and the week ahead holds some exciting things...

The weekend:

:: Did 12 miles with Chris on Saturday (he ran, I biked)...during the last mile, he cranked it up a notch, so fast that I could barely peddle to keep up! I asked him how fast his pace was, and he said he was running a 5:30 mile pace. Good grief!

:: Ate out at "bad" places all weekend, and did not do well on the Clean Eating. I wasn't all bad, but I surely wasn't good!

:: The monthly crop was Sunday, and I got about 14 pages done. Yay! I like most of them too. Will try to share some here soon. Also didn't do too great on the eating at the crop. So all in all, it was a pretty bad eating weekend. Which makes me feel a little ick now. Had fun with the girls though, and won some great prizes! We played Spoons for one of our games, and that game is too fun. Took me back to my childhood with the Repps, we played that all the time. I won, of course :) Lots of practice!!

:: Ocho had a visit with the vet on Saturday...I took him in to get a rattlesnake vaccine because we have seen a few in our neighborhood, and a dog two streets over died from a bite. Mr. Ocho is too little and wouldn't survive a bite, so we decided this was a good idea. He has to go back in a month to get the second round, and then every six months from then on. While there, it was also determined that he is behind on his rabies and parvo shots, so he got those too. Poor pup...he was a bit lethargic for the rest of the day!

The coming week:

:: Monday, they will begin installing our new cubicles and furniture in our department! They should be able to finish it up by Tuesday hopefully, so we can begin moving in. So so so ready to be out of that cramped room and in our new digs. Pictures to come...it looks AWESOME!!

:: Wednesday, we'll be off work because we'll be going to the District Cross Country meet in Breckenridge, TX. Yay!!! Very excited for this. It will be a two-mile course, which definitely ups the odds for Aspen. She does even better with the longer distances! So excited to see what she does that day. Cross your fingers for her!!

:: Sunday is the Annual Photo Shoot with Kim's family, and that will be fun. We need to figure out what we're going to do, and wear, and etc. Looking forward to it, hope the weather cooperates...

:: My goal for the week is to have a fabulous Clean Eating week ALL week long. Over the weekend too.

And now, before I sign off, I thought I would share a few of the Ellery scrapbook pages...let me know your thoughts!

Had you not won SPOONS I think you're Buddy might have been disappointed. Haven't played in ages!
