:: Pampered Chef was fun this evening...lots of people from work were there, and we laughed and had a good time. I bought two things that I have really been wanting...the egg separater and the fine strainer. The egg separator so I can do only egg whites, and the strainer so I can rinse off the bitter coating of grains like quinoa. Very excited to receive both...
:: Breezing through Eclipse (book 3), but not as fast as the first two. Trying to drag it out a little more so I can enjoy them longer. I did not know this, but Kim apparently is a speed reader! She is almost done with book 3 and started after me...oi!
:: Leaving Friday right after work, for San Antonio...be thinking good thoughts for Mr. Chris on Sunday between 7:30 am and 10:30 am. He's got a goal in mind, and I have every confidence that he can meet that goal. As long as nothing drastic happens (like horrible cramping, etc), should be a great experience. I'm proud to be watching him yet again...he always amazes me with his dedication and his endurance and the way he continually strives to be better.
:: For some odd reason, I was thinking tonight about what my very favorite cd of all time is. And the answer kind of surprised me. I listened to it on the way to the party tonight, and I said, "Yep, this is it. Love it 100%." It might seem like an extremely odd choice for me..."Collision Course", which a collaboration between Jay-Z (a rapper) and Linkin Park (a rock band). They sound amazing together. I love to crank it up way too loud (and the Murano has a fabulous Bose sound system) and just sing my heart out.
:: Surely I can find a scrapbook store in San Antonio, yes??
