merry xmas

Merry Christmas to us! :)

Chris and I decided this year that we would get a big gift together...and that big gift was a treadmill. Woo hoo!

It is so hard to stay motivated on the workouts when it is freezing outside. We will both get a lot of use out of it, especially in the cold months. And in the warmer months, a lot of times I'm not able to work out until after dark...so now I can just hop on the treadmill and be a little safer. Aspen will be able to keep up with her running workouts too, so it is an all-around great Christmas gift for us all! We had to get a pretty good one, since Chris will be logging a lot of miles on it. And it has a 10-year warranty, which is great...we hear the motors go out sometimes, so hopefully that will cover the chance of that...

We bought it here in town on Saturday, and they delivered it an hour later. They set it all up for us, and after they left, we decided that we didn't like it where it was. :) Luckily it has wheels on the front! We moved it over into the bay window nook, and moved the chair/table over to the other side of the room. That will take some getting used to, but I think we'll like it.
