:: Well, I finished my book last night. Fluff fluff fluff. And that disappoints me, because it could have been such a good story. The premise was good, it just never went deep enough into it. It just skated on the surface for the whole book. I felt like it was so rushed, the chapters flew by. Oh well...it's a done deal...if you are looking for a very quick read while you're sunning yourself on a beach somewhere, it might work for you. If you like to delve a little deeper, and have sentences that are complex, I probably don't recommend this one to you.
:: Tomorrow is Friday the 13th....oooooooo! Anybody out there superstitious?
:: Right now, we are watching House Hunters on HGTV...the cool thing is that they are in Boston, looking at those cool walk-ups that we were so in awe of during our trip there last April. We were so curious about what they looked like on the inside...SMALL! And expensive, just like we thought they would be. Under 1000 sq. ft for about $500,000! Whew!!!
:: Next book on the list...Winning With People by John Maxwell. Going to get started on my 2009 goal of reading two leadership books. I just finished listening to an audio book by Maxwell called Two Truths about Leaders. That was interesting, but as I've probably mentioned, I'm a visual person. I prefer holding a book in my hands, instead of listening. I also couldn't take notes, and that is the kind of book that I would normally do that with. Kind of hard to take notes while I'm driving to work :) So, I won't really count that as one of my two books. I'm excited to get started on this one. Hopefully it can give me some nuggets to use in my professional and personal life in my quest for betterment...
:: Time to hit the treadmill for a ten minute warmup, and then work the arms. Gotta get back to it!!!!
