a day in the life

:: Yesterday after work, we headed an hour and a half away to Snyder for another basketball game. The girls pulled it out in the end and won by about 5 points. Aspen's coach only put her in the game for about two minutes, and we continue to count down until the basketball season is over. Next Monday is the last game, and I think Aspen is very ready to move on to track season...

:: I just had a great treadmill workout...even jogged/ran for a good part of it. Every minute I would crank the speed up a few notches, and I was going fairly fast (for me) for awhile.

:: Chris leaves bright and early Wednesday morning for Minnesota. He has a long day ahead of him...I'll probably be in bed tomorrow before he gets home.

:: I'm reading "The Tenth Circle" by Jodi Picoult...I thought the story was pretty cut and dry at first, but there have been a few twists that I didn't expect. I'm about a third of the way through, and am very interested to see how it ends.

:: I wore my black suit from Express to work today with a new red sweater from Victoria's Secret underneath...and the consensus was that I was "smokin hot!" today! My boss even told me I looked "sharp!"

:: I've not made much more progress on my preplanning for the retreat. I fear I will be dragging a lot of stuff out there and didn't really want that. Because I'll have to look for stuff before I do each layout. That slows things down a lot.

:: So I guess I'll call it a night and try to get a little done on that at least!
