another step

:: Went back out to the house this evening for another look. Took Mimi since she is back and town and she loved it too. Chris' friend Greg also met us there, and was on the lookout for things that could be wrong with the house. Most of what we found was minor. Three windows have dings in them from the mower throwing rocks. The stove knobs are too far down and don't turn, it needs to be lifted a bit. One shower nozzle is missing, and the light in the other shower is hanging down. One door hinge is wonky and the door was patched but not painted. Stuff like that. Overall, though, he thought the house was good. Mimi and Aspen dangled their feet in the pool while we discussed numbers with Teri. She is working up the paperwork, and will be emailing it to us this evening to sign. Then we offer, and see what happens.

:: It's kind of draining, mentally...but also exciting. I hope that everything works out.

:: Work was good today...our new girl is doing great! She's really catching on quickly, and I like her a lot...
