2nd anniversary

Chris and I have now been married for two years. Since we've been together for a total of six, it feels like a lot longer than that. But, I can remember our wedding day just like it was yesterday. Such a beautiful day. A perfect day. The day that I married my best friend and soul mate. That doesn't just happen everyday!

We had a very nice anniversary...I gave him a sweet card when he woke up, and around 11:00 or so I received a delivery of gorgeous gerber daisies. I meant to take a photo but will have to post tomorrow. I left them at work so I could enjoy them all day long...

This evening, he gave me a sweet card and we headed off to dinner at Copper Creek. YUM. I had a delicious steak, a baked potato and some sauteed spinach. Very good. Chris even enjoyed some cheesecake :) A tasty treat for us and a good way to spend a little time, just the two of us.

We also talked about our anniversary getaway, and solidified the dates at least. We're going to go the weekend of the 15th-16th, and take Monday the 17th off work. Not sure yet where we're going to go, but to me it doesn't really matter. As long as it's me and him and the weekend to share. That's one of my favorite things.

I feel lucky everyday to be married to Chris. He makes me laugh. He is goofy and quirky. He takes care of me. And best of all? He loves ME. It is truly an ideal world...

We are both extremely lucky to have found one another. I look forward to growing old together...
