:: Had a nice day off work on Friday...ahhhh, much needed. Chris worked for a few hours in the morning, but I slept in. Very nice. We hit the road around 11:00, and after running into some heavy traffic in Dallas, picked Aspen up right at 3:00. Seems like she had a great week at running camp...did a lot of running, and hung out with some high school kids. From there, we stopped at Whole Foods for a quick shopping spree, then went to North Park Mall. Found two cute purses that I could've bought, but refrained as we are trying to save money for the house buying. I thought this Kate Spade bag was very nice...and liked quite a few of the Coach bags. Go here and look at a few, if interested. :: Had a delicious dinner at PF Changs...yum!!! I want to learn how to make those lettuce wraps. They are so dang good.
:: Didn't get on the road to home until about 9:00...and we ran into the worst rain storm I've seen in many years. It was so bad, we could not even see the lines on the road. People were driving extremely slow and had their flashers going. Horrible. We eventually pulled over at a gas station so Chris could calm his nerves. Just a very bad experience...so glad we made it home safely.
:: Today, we spent the entire day working on our house...Chris on the outside and me on the inside. Started about 11:00 and worked until 7:30. Whew, a long day. We've got it looking pretty darn good, and just need to do a few additional things before we have an Open House on Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00...fingers crossed everyone!!!!! Hopefully a buyer will come through tomorrow and love our home!!
:: We finally called it quits and headed to dinner with our friends Ana and Rolando. Enjoyed good company and yummy food at Abuelos, and then headed to the park to walk a lap and talk. We enjoyed the evening.
:: Our 2 year anniversary is coming up on Tuesday!!! We have decided that we will go out for a nice dinner together on Tuesday evening, probably at Copper Creek. Then, we are going to plan a little weekend getaway either this coming weekend or the next, depending on when it turns out best. It will be so nice to get away together! My favorite thing. Not sure exactly where we'll go yet, but we are going to wait to exchange gifts until our trip. Which is good, because I have bought nothing yet!!!
