:: Had a very nice weekend...Friday evening, we went to dinner at Casa Herrara and then stopped at the mall...I had a great coupon for Express. I bought a great shirt in a gorgeous bright yellow...and actually found a pair of jean capris that fit perfectly. Their bluejeans never fit me, so I was very surprised when these fit. Very excited. (if you know anything about me, or you are Chris or my grandma, you know how tedious jean shopping is for me.) Then we just relaxed on the couch and that was super nice...
:: Saturday, after sleeping late, we went to Lowes multiple times for mulch. We spent a few hours together getting the rest of the front flower beds mulched. It looks so nice! And so glad that it's done. After that, I spent some time archiving our 2008 photos onto a backup cd. I feel good having that done. Chris and Aspen worked on getting his Lexus washed, and then he actually gave Aspen her very first driving lesson...in his Lexus. Yes, he has lost his mind! They went down to the deserted road and off they went. Whew. Finally, we decided we were hungry around 8:30 and went to Cici's for pizza...
:: Sunday, we slept delicously late...I super cleaned out the fridge, and then grocery shopped and did some errands. Now I have cracked open a bottle of wine and am getting my stuff ready for the week. Ahhhhh. Chris, unfortunately, has had to go into work. And it will probably be a late night for him. Blah.
:: We're still trying to figure out where to go on our anniversary getaway weekend this coming weekend...I am so looking forward to our time away. I don't even care where we go!!!! My movie, The Time Traveler's Wife, comes out Friday, so hopefully we can go see it wherever we end up. If not, then definitely when we get back. I can not wait!!
