what's happening

:: Tried a new chicken salad today at lunch...I like the recipe in concept, but don't think I really liked the dressing. It was plain yogurt (or mayo) mixed with curry powder. Hmmm. I can't say I've really eaten a lot with curry in it, and it was a new sensation for my palette. Not entirely sure that I liked it. So, I will probably make it again, but will do a different dressing. Maybe plain yogurt, lime juice, and honey. At any rate, if you are interested, below are the ingredients for the salad. I'm not going to put measurements, I say use however much you like.

- Chicken
- Mandarin orange segments
- Water chestnuts
- Grapes
- Slivered almonds
- Dressing - mayo and curry powder

:: Placed my order today for Ocho new "special diet" dog food. Grrr. Because of the type of stones he had, a special urinary diet is supposed to prevent them from returning. Apparently he isn't supposed to have too much calcium or protein. Hmm. The special dog food is pretty expensive, so we'll see if he likes it. It will be in on Friday, so we'll try it then.

:: I'm all set for hosting bunko tomorrow evening. We should have eight ladies, what fun!! I made some black bean enchiladas this evening for it, and will heat them up tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the evening with my girls...need to pick out the prize that I want to use.

:: Getting ready to ride five miles while Chris runs...another gorgeous days on the books. I love the cooler weather. Even wore a light jacket on my ride last night!

Gordon Wedding: a pretty layout on my cousin Katie's wedding in 2007. I was pretty pleased with the pictures I captured of her day, and wanted to use her actual invitation too. I did the same thing with my cousin Shelly's wedding. I thought I would post this one, since Katie and Jason are expecting their first child Jaci any day now!!!
