:: I had a day. A DAY. Whew. So glad it's over. It's truly amazing how one person being gone can throw your entire day into a tizzy...but that's ok. SEVENTEEN days until my sabbatical!!!!
:: Ocho seems to have a belly ache...not sure why. Please do not let this turn into anything serious!!!! (yes, parionoid).
:: There's a beautiful field of bluebonnets growing by our office, I noticed today. Maybe I can talk Chris into popping over there this weekend to take a few pics...so pretty!
:: Baked chicken, quinoa with mixed olives, and greenbeans for dinner...should be yummy! And then tomorrow, I am trying a new crock pot recipe. If it turns out well, I will share as always.
:: I finished "Little Bee"...it was a pretty good book. The story was interesting, and some of his language was just beautiful. The book dragged in certain parts though, I felt. But it is worth a read. Now I am reading "Eat Pray Love" and it's really good so far. They have made this into a movie with Julie Roberts, and I am looking forward to seeing that one!
:: We know a family that has a boxer who just had puppies...and they offered to let us have the pick of the litter, for free because we just lost our Foster-Roo...I was really floored by that gesture, I thought it was very kind hearted...but I am trying to remind Chris about all the slobber and mess that Foster was...he was a sweet boy, and we do certainly miss him...but our house is a lot cleaner, and it is nice to not have to wipe slobber every ten minutes. Getting a new boxer would mean signing on for at least ten more years of slobber. I don't think I need that in my life, sweet gesture or not!
:: Time to get dinner hopping!

Funny that you wrote something about bluebonnets today. I did to! great minds. :) i hope we can get some pictures this weekend as well!
Hopefully Ocho is feeling better already!
I can understand your feelings about another boxer. I loved Foster!, but I can see why you would think twice about another boxer.
