:: Today was HOT. 100 degrees hot. And stupid me and stupid Chris decided to run/ride a few miles when we got home from work. And we about boiled from the inside out. Whew. I refuse to ride before 8:30 p.m. for the rest of the summer.
:: Had a great time at bunko last night!
:: Work was fabulous today. I am loving my job in the calm, serene state. It's a whole new experience!!
:: I missed So You Think You Can Dance last night, will have to catch up at some point. Apparently they've already picked the top ten!
DAILY ROCK
We should not build our marriages on the world system. We must build our marriages on God's word. He created marriage and gave us a four fundamental laws for marriage in two single verses.
For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed. (Gen. 2:24-25)
At first sight, there doesn't seem to be much substance in those two little lines. That is why I need some assistance in decifering at this point in my journey :) But the author really breaks it down into four sections and goes into great detail.
Here is what is to come:
The Law of Priority: For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother.
The Law of Pursuit: And shall cleave to his wife.
The Law of Possession: And they shall become one flesh.
The Law of Purity: And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.
