On our two recent weekend getaways (Fredericksburg and then San Marcos), we found so many goodies and good deals!! I wanted to share them with you :)


This turquoise face was perfect for the guest bedroom...we found it at our favorite winery, Grape Creek.

An antique store in Fredericksburg was closing, and we found a lot of good deals there. We loved this old rusty turquoise trunk, also for the guest bedroom. My plan is to put an extra blanket in there, peeking out.

At the same antique store, I found this great printers box for my scrap room. I need to dig out all my small goodies from the printers box my mom used to have, and then work on finding new cute tiny stuff!

One thing we wanted to find was two huge pots for our front porch, to go in front of each window. These are huge, and now we just need to figure out what to put in them.

This glass reminded me of the Chahuly glass that we've seen, and I am excited to have a piece like it. I think I will stick this in a vase with some flowers. Yes, in the guest bedroom! :)

At the Fossil outlet store, I found this cutey...it's an across the body style, and super soft leather.

I was very excited to find Donkey #2 for my new collection!!! He was made in Mexico out of scrap metal, and is so adorable!!!

This was one of Chris' finds...it goes perfectly with our decor!

We had been looking for a centerpiece for our new kitchen table, and I really had no idea what I wanted. Chris found this, and it is absolutely perfect! We were wanting to pull in more of this color into our kitchen, and it's the perfect size. Now just need to figure out what we want to display in it.

And this cute little bird plaque spoke to me..."I am only one. But still I am one." Simple and true.

I also got this cardigan at Eddie Bauer for a great price...

And some other good clothes too...

All in all it was a fabulous two weekends to end our summer! Life is good!
