:: Driving home this evening, there was a billowing black cloud of smoke near our house. Not sure exactly where it was happening, but way too close for comfort. Smells very burnt out there. Hopefully they have it under control. It is 100% dry in Texas and a fire will get out of hand very very quickly.
:: Chris and I have some talking and planning to do about two upcoming trips...one to Fredericksburg for our anniversary and one to San Marcus with Aspen. Both should be lots of fun!
:: Finally finished the reading for my book study on Thursday. Chapter 1 was chock full of amazing information. What will the rest of the book possibly hold? I am very excited to read on and learn more. Forgiveness is a lot of things, and it isn't a lot of things. Forgiveness is way more than I realized, and way more important. The bitterness we feel because we refuse to forgive is grieving the Holy Spirit...and that is preventing God from dwelling within us. How much bitterness do you have in your life? Big and small...it all matters.
:: I made the most delicious salisbury steaks for dinner tonight...wow. Yum! I should not have eaten the whole thing because now my tum hurts!
