:: Oh, it's a glorious thing to be off work!!
:: We've had a very nice, long weekend...Friday, Aspen went to the football game, so Chris and I enjoyed a lovely evening out together. We had dinner at Famous Dave's and I tried their potato soup. It was the best potato soup I have ever had, yum!!! Then we stopped by Academy to buy Chris a bike. Since he is injured and isn't really able to run right now, the bike will offer him some good cross training to keep him in shape. And he was getting tired of riding my girl bike :)
:: Saturday, we went on a 10 mile bike ride together. Aspen's friend came over and then we headed to Lowes. We wanted to get some pots and plants to set around our fountain. We bought everything we needed and it looks so good now! I will try to remember to post a photo. Our courtyard is really looking good!! Then, we had dinner at Casa and grocery shopped. It was a full day, but we enjoyed it.
:: Sunday, we went to church, and then did chores. Chris went to the movies with Neeley and saw Apollo 18. They thought it was pretty good. Then Neeley came over and we grilled out a delicious dinner of sausage, chicken, onions, potatoes, and green bean casserole. Yum!!!
:: Today, we have been puttering around the house doing odds and ends, and I am about to go do a photoshoot with Aspen and Bailey. That should be fun! It's only about 85 today, so that is so nice. Very windy though. We'll see how the pics turn out. I'll be sure to share those too!
