:: Catch-up day at work, and pretty productive...
:: Chris and I thought it would be fun to go to the fair this evening...only it was raining when we left work! Just a light rain, but we decided it was better not to drive all the way over there on the chance it would be raining there too. That would be 30 minutes wasted. So, we decided to just have a date night :) We went to dinner and had catfish in Buffalo Gap. Love impromptu date nights!!!
:: I finished "The Heart of Memory" and really enjoyed it. I now need to get another book. I'm thinking about "One Day" by David Nicholls. It's a movie out now starring Anne Hathaway, and the concept seems interesting. The book follows a couple throughout their life together, on the same day every year. I've got my amazon gift card from bunko, and think I'll go purchase that right after this! Anyone have any great recommendations???? I'm all ears!
:: Aspen found out this evening that the boy she's been dating from church is moving. She's bummed out, of course. Been there...only I was on the other side of the fence! God has a purpose for it all, and maybe we don't understand it now. Maybe we never will. But He has a plan and we get to watch it unfold...
:: Tomorrow we get to enjoy a Jeans for a Cause day, for just a $2 donation. Yay! I am ready for some comfy clothes. Sometimes dressing up every day gets a little old! People are always happier in jeans :)
