The inn is owned by a homosexual married couple made up of Jim and Jamie. Jim is the chef, who trained at the California Culinary Academy; Jamie took care of everything else. They were both very nice, and were naturals at running the inn to perfection. They thought of every little detail...they had chocolate brown wash cloths for women to remove their makeup, instead of the crisp white ones; they had mosquito netting that hung over the doorways; Jamie sat with each visitor every morning to make sure they had their day planned and didn't have any questions. Overall, they were just wonderful.
The inn was made up of a mansion and a back quarters. The mansion was the main house, and there were five rooms upstairs. There was a dining room with a long table to seat all the guests (in the winter, I'm guessing). There was a beautiful sitting room with soft music, magazines and books, and port. There were cookies every evening, and a tea bar that I fell in love with. Lots of loose teas and the neatest tea cups that brewed the tea right inside (I need to find one of those!!). Out the side door of the mansion was the patio that had multiple tables with umbrellas, multiple waterfalls, and plenty of greenery. The back quarters was made up of six rooms...three on the bottom and three upstairs. We were on the bottom, in the middle.

What a beautiful place...it was also a wildlife habitat, and it was also certified green. And pet friendly! The couple in the room next to ours brought their dog along. It was a "mutt" but looked like a chihuahua with an underbite. Her name was Yoda May, and she was a sweetie! She and I bonded over breakfast one morning while she laid in my lap having her ears stroked :)
