:: We had a great weekend! I hope you did too!
:: Friday evening, my sweet hubby took me to dinner at Szchuen's! I had a stressful end to the work week, and he knows how much I love that place. So that was awesome of him! We enjoyed our meal there, and then went over to Lauren's house. She is out of town, and Neeley is watching her schnauzer Bella. We chatted with Neeley a bit and then got a snack at Wataburger...
:: Saturday, Chris ran in the Mudslinger Mud Run...you can see below at the previous post for details on that! It was a fun morning!! Afterwards, we went to La Popular for breakfast burritos, and then home. Chris did some work in the yard and I watched SYTYCD. Then we picked up some goodies at the grocery store and headed out to Clyde where Neeley lives. We spent a nice evening in the country with our amazing friend and grilled out some yummy food. Steak, shrimp, veggies, baked beans, and watermelon. Mmm mm Neeley spoiled us! It was a great evening.
:: Sunday, we slept a little late and then went to church. Afterwards we did the grocery shopping, and then I did laundry and made chili dogs for dinner. Now we are relaxing! Chris is watching football so he can keep up with his fantasy football team! :)
:: Only bad thing from the weekend -- seems like the hard drive on my laptop went out today. :( yikes. Most of our photos are on a separate storage unit, as well as on back up cds. However, there are a handful of photos that I haven't filed yet, along with all the work I've done on our Napa album and a hodge podge of documents. Chris is going to take it to work tomorrow to see if our computer guru can save anything. Boo.
:: The week ahead -- tomorrow night we have Open House at the high school. We'll go from class to class, following Aspen's schedule. It is really kind of pointless, because we spend about 4 minutes in each class. That isn't long enough for them to tell you anything. Tuesday I have an appointment with my allergy doctor. Just a followup to make sure everything is going ok. Otherwise, that's about the only things out of the ordinary...
