:: We had a few days in a row with constant rain -- kind of weird for Abilene, for sure. Everything is looking greener, and the sun came out today. And it brought in the cooler temps. Which is very nice.
:: This weekend was relaxed due to the weather. Chris couldn't do anything outside, so we bummed around inside. I did a lot of snuggling on the couch with Ms. Poppy. She is the best snuggler. Went to dinner at Szchuen on Friday and Famous Dave's on Saturday. Bought a new book at Hastings, and church today. Now doing laundry...
:: Finished Unlocked, and it was a good story. I felt it was pretty unrealistic though, which put a bit of a damper on it. It seemed farfetched to me that a teenager with severe autism, who would not even speak, was, by the end of the book, up on stage singing and performing, and talking again. I don't know a lot about autism, but I just don't know about that.
:: Upcoming this week -- bunko on Wednesday and a crop on Saturday. Have a dentist appointment on Thursday. And then all the normal stuff. We are starting our thankful book study this week and Chris and I will do that during lunch on Tuesdays.
