:: Friday evening, Aspen went to Brownwood for the football game with her friend...Chris and I went to dinner at Taco Casa and then did a little shopping. It was a nice, relaxing evening...
:: Saturday was crop day! It was Kim's house and Mary Kay hosted. I was able to get everything I preplanned accomplished, which came to a total of 21 pages. Yay! Laughed and chatted with the girls, and ate way too much junk! After the crop, came home and saw Chris' progress with staining our extended patio. Looking good, though can't seem to get it to match what the builder did on the patio. Not sure what that guy did to make it look like that!!! Then Chris and I had dinner at Cotton Patch and then picked Aspen up from a friend's.
:: Sunday, after church, we had lunch at Fazoli's and then grocery shopped. Laundry and the normal chores...trying to laze a bit too!! :)
:: The week ahead has a few things on tap -- having lunch Monday with Kim, for her birthday! And the electrician is stopping by Monday after work to discuss the shop with Chris. Tuesday I am getting my hair done. Thursday is dance and Friday we are closing on our refinance at 3:00. We are contemplating ordering the next batch of sod for the back so we can get that done. The horrible heat of the summer seems to be over and it is probably a good time to get it done. Will be nice to have somewhere for the dogs to run, and that will also mean less dirt on the patio. Lots of dirt blowing around out back!!
