2013 in review

2013 has been a full year for our family...lots of good and some bad...

: Chris and I enjoyed date nights...and so did Aspen and Chris
: I attended the scrapbook retreat at Camp Butman
: I was diagnosed with mild ashtma
: We finished up family counseling with Ryane
: Chris and I attended the Lindsey Sterling concert
: Aspen went on a mission trip to Oklahoma for Spring Break
: I hit my 11 year anniversary with FDLIC; Chris hit his 14th
: Ocho turned 7
: Mimi turned 63
: Aspen went to prom with Kevin
: I turned 37
: Chris and I went on a trip of a lifetime to Israel with FDLIC
: Chris and I went to our very first dog show
: Chris went to a work conference in Washington D.C.
: Aspen went to summer school for a few classes
: Aspen got her drivers license on June 12
: My mom came to visit
: Chris turned 39
: Chris broke his thumb while shoveling
: Aspen got her first job, as an Olive Garden hostess
: Aspen had her official cap and gown senior photos taken
: Aspen broke up with Kevin
: Aspen turned 17
: Aspen went through a dark period
: Aspen began counseling with Joanne
: Chris rode in the Tour de Gap with Matt
: Chris and I spent our 6th anniversary in Fredericksburg
: Aspen began her senior year of high school
: We changed churches started going to Beltway Church
: Chris and I joined a Life Group at church
: Aspen joined a D Group of senior girls at church
: Chris hosted a few boy's nights
: I went to the DMA Convention in Chicago for work
: We went to Moses' first conference
: We took our annual photos with the Halfmanns
: Aspen decided to start college at Cisco Junior College
: I attended the Scrap All Day with my scrapbook group
: We visited St. Louis over Thanksgiving week
: I completed my first 5k race at the Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Day
: Upon request, I took Aspen's senior photos
: Chris trained for the White Rock Half Marathon - cancelled due to ice
: Mimi broke her elbow after falling on the ice and needed surgery
: Aspen took the ACT test
: Aspen found out she was selected for the mission trip to Ireland
: We had a Masquerade Ball for our End of Year party at work
: Poppy turned 3

It's good to look back through my calendar and see what we have done and gone through...and to think forward to 2014 and what it might hold...
