our weekend

:: It's a rainy Sunday here -- about 25 degrees. Brrrr! Bonus -- I got to wear my new rain boots for the first time :) That was fun.

:: Friday evening, when I got home from work (Chris was off on Friday), I was met with a glass of wine and a sweet note that said, "A small spot of wine for my beauty." Now, that is awesome!! :) I made some chicken salad for Mimi, and then Chris and I met our friends Jon and Nadene for dinner at the Bee Hive. Yum yum!! Steak all around, and the best steak in town! Afterwards, we went over to their house and it was our first time there since they moved in a year ago. So it was fun to see everything. We talked and talked, and really enjoyed our time with them. They are an amazing couple.

:: Saturday, we piddled around for most of the morning and then Chris and I did ten miles. He ran and I rode the bike, and it was tough. It was a super windy day, and he threw in some hills too. But, we did it and felt great afterwards. That evening, we went to Olive Garden to see Aspen at work and have a nice meal. We had a good time, and afterwards we went to Target for a few things. I needed a long sleeve white tshirt to wear with a fleece vest I ordered from Dillards. I also found a cute cardigan. I also purchased this cd and am loving it!! Then it was time for home.

:: I did other online shopping as well this weekend, to spend some gift cards! I bought these shoes and this shirt (for half off) and these pants (for half off). So now I await the packages. Woo hoo! I also put in my order for the Arbonne products too. From the party that I hosted, I was able to get some great rewards. In addition to the $50 product I received at the party, I also was able to get another free $50 item. Also, one item at 50% the cost, and then I was able to buy $125 worth of product for only $25. Woo hooo!! All in all, I ended up with $260 worth of product and only paid $67.50. Not a bad deal at all. Can't wait to try it all out, and take a few years off my face :)

:: Now I am doing laundry; Chris is working on a side job with Neeley and Scott; and Aspen is at the movies with Bailey watching the new Bieber movie. I'm making pizza for dinner, and then we finish up 2013 the next two days. Crazy.
