Happy New Year to you!!! I hope you had a fun, safe NYE!
We weren't sure what we were going to do. But we ended up having a very fun evening with our friend John!
John came over to our house, and he and Chris enjoyed some Trinchero Meritage wine from Napa. They were in heaven :) Then we went for sushi and had a delicious spread of food -- crab rangoon, spring rolls, gyoza...spider roll, tuna avocado roll, spicy crawfish, and eel. And of course, salmon sashimi! We were quite full when we were done, but it was so good!
From there, we headed home...Aspen was home from work by then, and we proceeded to play Just Dance and laugh laugh laugh (or ja ja ja as John would say!). We bought some champagne and John was going to saber it with our saber from Shramsburg...but as Chris was preparing it to be sabered open, he must have shook it a bit because while we were in the kitchen, it exploded! It went everywhere!!!!!!!! All over the floor, the ceiling, the light fixtures. It was insane, and we were lucky that the cork didn't hit someone!! John was still able to saber the bottle top off, but it wasn't quite the same :)
We enjoyed the night -- and now on to 2014!!!
