:: Friday evening, Chris and I had dinner at TaMolleys and then got a few things at Target -- to include the new Jennifer Nettles cd! I can't wait to listen to it!
:: Saturday morning, Chris and I left town for Austin. Aspen unfortunately was not able to get both of her weekend work shifts covered, so she wasn't able to go with us. :( We made it to Austin in about 4 hours and went first to pick up Chris' race packet. He got a very fun race tshirt! Then we went and shopped around a bit at The Container Store and Crate & Barrel, and then checked into the hotel. We met up with Addison and Charlee for dinner at The Cheesecake Factory and we had a very enjoyable time.
:: Sunday morning, we were up bright and early since the half marathon began at 7:00 am. Charlee and I were able to see the boys at mile 5.5 and at the finish line too. I will do a full post on the race when I can this week, because there is a lot to tell and photos to share!
:: After the race, we had breakfast at the hotel and then got cleaned up. We did a little more shopping, and then had lunch at Five Guys Burgers. Then, on the road for the trip home.
Hope you all had a great weekend! I'm trying to get the laundry done and my grocery list made. Playing catch up now!
