scrapbook retreat 2014

:: Ahhhhhhhhhhh...

:: I have had a wonderful, productive, relaxing weekend. Just exactly what I needed!

:: I -- scrapbooked (I am currently at 74 pages); designed a Save the Date card; sized Aspen's senior photos for printing; started a Winkflash album of Aspen's senior photos; sized some photos on the computer; ate lots of yummy food; watched many, many chick flicks; listened to great music on my iPod; and even took a nap!

:: When we got here, it was snowy and very cold...by the end of that day, it had warmed up and everything had melted away. The rest of the weekend has been gorgeous, mellow weather.

:: It's always fun sleeping in a sleeping bag :)

:: I did forget my phone charger -- so I was forced to be pretty unplugged too. I was able to chat with Chris from my laptop, through Facebook messages thankfully. Otherwise, I have been away from the world.

:: Chris had a guys getaway this weekend while I've been in the woods -- he, John, and Kyle went to Fredericksburg and had wine, great food (including the best sushi ever) and who knows what else. I am looking forward to getting home and hearing all about his trip!

::  Best of all -- I am off tomorrow too! I can play catch up on laundry and grocery shopping and relax a bit more :)
