weekend wrap up

Hi there!
:: It's Superbowl Sunday -- we are heading to a party at Matt's house (one of Chris' coworkers) and it will be a fun evening! I don't really care who wins -- Chris is rooting for the Broncos.

:: After our church service this morning, we attended a Missions meeting at the church. They are going to begin ramping things up for the Ireland mission trip that Aspen is going on in July. Lots of volunteering at the church, and money to save. They wrote scriptures and messages on balloons and we went out and let them loose.
:: On the way home from church, we stopped and I snapped this photo of a sweet donkey in the snow! Yes, it is in the 20s today, and we got snow/ice early this morning. The streets aren't too bad, so hopefully everything will be good for going to work tomorrow.
:: On Saturday, Chris and I woke up early and got on the rode for a 6 mile ride/run. It had been planned for 10 miles, but it was way too cold. Low 30s and we were popsicles. Hands and feet were frozen and it took hours for me to warm up afterwards. Brrr. I must really love that man!

:: Saturday night we had dinner at Szcheuan and Friday night we had dinner at Deutchlanders for catfish. Nom nom nom.

:: We rented "Last Vegas" and it was pretty cute and funny in parts.

:: Friday at work, there were big technical difficulties from 11:00 am on. So it was an odd day, where we couldn't see our email or use our FDLIC programs. Monday should be an extremely busy day, catching up from that. My to-do list was already quite long, and so that will be longer to catch up. But I will plug through.

:: I am off this coming Friday and then the Monday following too! I can't wait!!!!! I am heading to the scrapbook retreat on Friday morning with Kim, and will be back on Sunday evening. Then I will have Monday to do laundry and grocery shop, etc. I am looking very, very forward to the down time.

Hope you all have a great week ahead!
