Alrighty, it is time to begin catching up on cruise posts!
Our cruise was 7 days, and 4 of those days were spent at sea...so, we really do not have as many photos as we normally have on our trips. I will share what I have, and give you a general idea of our trip.
We left Abilene on Friday, 4-11 and drove to Dallas. We stayed in the Marriot for the night since we had an early morning flight the next day. We had a night cap with Zack, Steven, and Blaise, and then turned in for the night.
Saturday, 4-12, we woke up bright and early for our 9:15 a.m. flight. Everything went smoothly and when we arrived in LA we had a bit of time before we were able to board the ship. They took us to the Sheraton hotel where we had a delicious lunch and wandered around.

A bunch of crazies at the airport in LA, after getting our luggage and waiting to board the shuttle to the Sheraton |

During our wandering time around the LAX airport/Sheraton hotel, we spent a little time with these sweet girls -- Kathy and her daughter Ivy |

Excited and ready for the week ahead!! |

A crazy chair at the Sheraton hotel, we both fit |

Once we made it to the port, we were herded into the waiting area...after a long day of travel, Kim and I were so ready to just GET ON THE BOAT! :) |
 |
Here is our room -- home for 7 days! It is amazing how much they can fit into such a small space, and it was all so practical and useful! |
From the Sheraton, the shuttle took us to the port. We stood in a long line there, where we received our room key. Then we were moved to a different area, and when our number was called, we were able to board the ship! We made our way to our room and settled in. After a muster drill for safety, we went up to the top deck buffet and had some dinner. Then toured the ship a bit and had drinks at Crooner's Bar.
The next morning, we woke up and went to workout. That was an interesting experience, doing a treadmill or eliptical machine on a moving boat! But, we got our workout in. After getting cleaned up, we attended the FDLIC welcome reception and then had breakfast at the buffet. Our afternoon was filled with...a wedding!! One of our company's board members married his sweetheart, and it was so precious to see! After the wedding and reception, do you know what we did? We took a nap :) Which is something we never do and it was so so nice!
That evening, we were invited to the President's Club dinner because I was taking the photos. The President's Club is an elite group of our sales agents who have sold over $1 million in sales for the year. This occurred on one of our two formal nights, so we got all dressed up and pretty! Dinner was delicious -- lobster!

The Crown Princess cruise ship was so pretty everywhere you looked! It took us forever to get the lay of the land...and honestly, but the end of the week, we were still getting turned around. |
 |
Photos of each of us on deck, with the ocean behind us...the majority of our time on the ship was actually a little chilly and overcast. We had one day of sunny weather on the boat. Luckily, the weather was beautiful on both of our port days. But on the ship, we were usually bundled up. |
 |
This was the view from our cabin -- it was, unfortunately, an obstructed view room. But, we were very grateful to have a window :) |
 |
Jerry and Marta, celebrating their wedding! It was so fun to witness, and they danced around the ship for the rest of the week. Pure happiness! |
 |
Chris looking very dapper for formal night and the President's Club dinner! I am one lucky woman! |

Here I am for our formal night! |
After the award dinner, we went to the nightly show -- This one was a singing/dance production called Destination Anywhere and it was pretty good. From there, we went to watch the Princess Popstar contest, which was like American Idol. One of our very own coworkers was in the competition and he made it on to the final round!!!
