:: By Saturday morning, I was feeling better but not great. I decided I was good enough to head to the crop, since I would just be sitting there all day. I worked on a few different, random projects and headed back home around 4:30. Rested a bit, and then we went to Aspen's graduation party at the Fairway Country Club. There were 20 youth group girls hosting (Aspen being one of them) and it was parents, family, friends. Each of the host girls received a 2014 Graduate tote bag that was full of goodies: customized flip flops, a glass with their monogram on it, a huge laundry bag, and a customized pillowcase with their monogram. Very cute. There were some other cute things like: a board that had baby photos of all the host girls, a table full of black frames with a photo of each girl and an autograph book for each; a group photo for each of the girls with a white mat, that each girl signed; a candy bar of different candies.

| I always think it's funny -- the girls spend so much money on shoes, and then kick them off within minutes of arriving! |
:: Sunday, we went to church and listened to an awesome guest speaker. Then home for chores. I was finally starting to feel normal, 100%. So I was down about two days. Unfortunately, around 1:00 Chris decided he wasn't feel all that great. Now, at 5:30, he is in the bed. So, stomach bug has gotten him too :( We'll see how it progresses. We need to try to keep Aspen from getting it, as she has a very busy week coming up. I went to a parent meeting for the upcoming youth camp Aspen is going to, and we cancelled our plans to attend a Life Group get together this evening. Chris is certainly not up for it.
:: My second Whole 30 is done this coming Tuesday...I must say, the second one was harder than the first. I had some detoxing at the beginning (since it was right after the cruise gluttony) and toward the end here I feel more than ready to move on and incorporate a few things back in. I did read in the book, that if you get off track, you can do a Whole 7 or a Whole 3 or whatever it takes to get you back on track. So next time I will be doing that. I don't think a second Whole 30 was necessary. I was under control in a little over a week. :)
:: The week ahead...Wednesday movie with the Life Group girls; Thursday Aspen has her senior Six Flags trip; Friday is graduation practice and the senior picnic; Sunday is Baccalaureate. Let's hope everyone is feeling 100%!!!!
Happy week ahead to you!!
