:: It's been a good weekend...Friday evening, Mimi and I hosted the Park Lane jewelry party...we had four people show up, and it was a fun evening. The party stays "open" until this coming Wednesday, and then she will close it out and let me know how much we have in rewards to spend. Park Lane is probably the best I've seen at rewarding the hostesses of the parties.
:: I had a fantastic day on Saturday! I started off by sleeping in a little...ahhhh! Then I headed to the farmers market and bought some tomatoes and zuchini. Yum! Afterwards, I stopped at the Natural Food Store and Target...I enjoyed my wandering! Headed home to make the grocery list and do a little laundry, then headed back out to grocery shop. Once that was done, I met my coworker Vanessa at Tokyo for some delicious sushi! I enjoyed our time together. Then, I met another friend at a new winery in town called The Mill -- I was blown away by how nice that place was! It did not feel like I was still in Abilene!!! I can't wait to take Chris there...he will love it! I had their sangria, which was absolutely delish!!!
:: Today, after a very good sermon at church (Pastor David was fired up!!!), I filled up my hubby's truck with gas and then have been doing laundry and cleaning all day. It's tough, having a husband whose love language is Acts of Service!!!!!
:: So now, counting down the minutes!!! Can't wait to hear their stories and see all of their photos!!! Check out this one! Two people with very fat sad lips!
:: The week ahead -- we are having our employee luncheon early this month. It will be this Wednesday, 6-25. Looking forward to that. Saturday is the crop at Kim's, and I need to get some things prepared for that if I plan to scrapbook. I may work on our digital cruise album. :)
