what we did

:: Oh Sunday -- I wish you were about 48 hours long :(

:: Friday evening, Chris and I had a date night -- we dined on delicious sushi, and then had gelato at a local coffee shop. It was a delicious treat for me!! I chose the chocolate chip and it was heavenly. Chris had the vanilla that was topped with cold home brewed coffee. Yum! I also found a pair of ear buds, since my other ones broke. These have a smaller cushion and fit better into my ears. Can't wait to try them out!

:: Saturday, I really enjoyed crop day with Kim! It ended up just being the two of us, and we chatted all day long. I was also able to get 32 pages started!! Yay! I am not sure I've found my creative mojo, but I have certainly found my speed mojo! :) At 6:00, I headed home and then Chris and I had dinner at Skeets. We finished that up and then had dessert at Nikki's -- I was good and had a bowl of berries there!

:: We had a guest speaker at church today, and then Chris and I drove his 40 mile course to check it out for this coming Thursday. That's a long way folks! We figured out some logistics...I think we are ready! Please pray for him!!!!

:: Grocery shopping and now laundry...work work work...

:: The week ahead -- Aspen is taking the math placement test tomorrow evening, and then after we have the score from that we should be able to register for classes. I'm getting my hair done on Wednesday evening. Thursday, Chris is starting his 40 mile run at 6:00, so we will be leaving the house very early. Then I have to come back in to take Aspen to the church -- they are leaving at 8:00 for Ireland! Then back out to support Chris along his path. Thursday is his 40th birthday, so we will celebrate with cake :) And off on Friday for the 4th of July! Four day weekend for us since we are both off on Thursday for the run.
