:: Today was a good day! Hope yours was good too!
:: It was a little warmer here -- it got up to the 60s! What a nice change of pace. It's supposed be in the 60s for the rest of the week too. Yay!
:: Our life group was great this evening -- we discussed being receptive to hearing the things our spouse is trying to tell us. We are often defensive (guilty) and turn things around on them (guilty) instead of listening with a pure, open heart. There is always, always room for growth.
:: Chris and I are beginning our book study together -- we decided to read "Now Your Speaking My Language" by Gary Chapman, which delves deeper into the 5 Love Languages. We are reading the first chapter this week, and there are a few discussion chapters at the end. We'll be discussing it on Sunday...I'm looking forward to that time together.
:: My Jamberry nails are still hanging on. Tomorrow is Day 7. I will be taking them off this weekend.
:: Sharp Objects is going ok...it is not nearly as good as her other two books. I am anxious to see how it goes though. Time to relax and read!
