:: Happy Wednesday!

:: First things first! Today I want to wish a Happy Birthday to my Grandpa Al!! He turned 84 years old today!! He holds a special place in my heart, and always has...he taught me a lot growing up, and I attribute my strong work ethic to him and his example. And now, he is taking such good care of my Grandma, who is struggling with arthritis in her hands. He is a blessing to us all!

I love this photo of my grandpa, from when I was in junior high school. So yes, a long time ago! This was probably somewhere around 1990 or so. Isn't he a cutie??? :)

:: I thought I had a deal with Mother Nature, but she didn't listen. It was in the 60s yesterday, but today, snow and sleet. It is coming down pretty hard and solid. Tomorrow morning should be fun. I am done with this weather and am ready for Spring!!!

I can NOT get warm!!!

 :: Life Group was cancelled tonight because of the weather...which is good, because I had to work until 6:15 anyway. We had VIPs and our presentation went late. Chris was working out, and when he was done, we picked up some Mr. Burger and then headed home (carefully!).

:: I'm reading the Epilogue now for Unbroken, so almost done. It's been a very good story.

:: One final thing -- look at this cute donkey I received from a friend!! I love the colors!
