rambles

:: Well, I took my little slideshow off the sidebar...from what I could find in my research, it only scrolls through your 20 most recently uploaded images...so going over and over those 20 images would get a bit boring for you all! I have 160 photos in Flickr right now, and there are some good ones outside those 20. So I'm frustrated. I'm going to look into it a bit more, and also see if there are other options...

:: Three people so far have mentioned to me that they want to read or are currently reading the Eat Clean book...that excites me!!!! My mom and my aunt Sandy want to read, and my friend Jackie is currently reading. I hope it impacts their lives as it has impacted mine...let me know girls!!! Anyone else out there??

:: I hopped on the scale this morning...in my first week of Clean Eating, I lost FOUR pounds! For me, that is a lot because I don't have a ton to lose. And I have officially dropped below the mark that I have been unable to get below for the past 5 years. I'm BELOW that elusive number now!!!!!! I couldn't believe my eyes. I just stood on that scale and smiled like a loon. Mainly because I don't feel I should be losing weight because I am eating so much food.

:: One of the main principles?? 80/10/10. This means that 80% of our body is due to our nutrition. 80%!!!! 10% of our body is from our workouts. And 10% is from our genes. Did you read that right???? 80% is NUTRITION!!!! And in general, American nutrition sucks!!!!!!!

:: Ok, ok...enough about Clean Eating...

:: I can't wait to tell you all about the gift(s) I got Chris for our first anniversary! I think they are pretty good. And apparently, Chris has been bouncing ideas off my very own mother for his gift to me!! My very own, tight-lipped mother!!! I'm looking so forward to our weekend getaway. It will be fun to drink some champagne and nibble from the top layer of our wedding cake!! I'm sure it will taste nasty, but it's tradition and we'll do it. :) All you drinkers out there...give me some good options for champagne...something SWEET. I don't like dry. I've yet to find a wine or champagne that I like...please help! (And not too pricey either!!)

:: I'm still struggling to learn how to shoot manually with my camera. I really have problems indoors. Outside in natural light, I'm doing pretty good. But indoor lighting kicks my ass. Hey Kris Noorman...ever think about doing a photography online class???????? :)

Well, I need to get my workout in...
