Aspen's favorite color is blue, and she isn't a real "girlie" girl...so we were pleased with her bedding. They are a darker blue with dots on them, and some of the dots are white, some are lime green, some are blue. We thought we'd accent the room with the lime green color, which would look so awesome. Aspen came home for her birthday (she spends the month of July with her mom) and we took her out to dinner, and while there she laid the bomb on us...SHE DOESN'T LIKE GREEN.
WHAT???? This is the first we'd heard of this. And of course, we had to revamp our plan a little bit. Added some frustration to the weekend, but all has turned out well. Instead of green, we added more blue...oh, the fickle and ever-changing likes and dislikes of children!! :)
She seemed to really like her new room...she saw it today when she came home for her party, and was pretty surprised by it, I believe. Woo hoo! When she returns home at the end of July, she'll really be able to enjoy it...

Oh No!! Doesn't like Green??? Silly kid!! From the pictures everything looks lovely, I think it all came together very nicely. Sorry you had extra work to change some of the accessories to something NON GREEN. I bet she will love sleeping in there after she comes home from karly's
I love the room, and know that she will too, even with hints of the dreaded green. At least you got a teeny, tiny bit of notice!
