One of the best things about digital photography is that you can open the picture up in a program such as Photoshop, and you can fix the flaws before printing.
This is my friend Kim and her husband Gary on their recent vacation. The top photo is the original. Not a bad picture by any means, but nearly every single photo can benefit from a little sprucing up! Kim asked if I would help remove the unwanted stuff from the backgrounds of a handful of pictures, and I was happy to. I find great pleasure in seeing how much I can improve a photo.
You can delete unwanted objects from the photo...such as that woman's butt! You can lighten faces, remove stray strands of hair, whiten teeth, brighten the whites of eyes, re-crop the photo, remove any imperfection you can find.
I use Photoshop every single day...in my job, with my photos, you name it. Amazing program. Love it!
Hope Kim approves of the alterations I've made to her photos! I guess we shall see! I fixed them as I would fix my own, and that is honestly the best thing I can do :)

I use Photoshop for all of my photography! It is awesome! I have CS and I love using actions. Really simplifies my life! :) Plus, it's awesome for digital scrapbooking, which I'm loving getting into right now.
Great job touching up that photo. I'm sure your friend will be pleased. :)
Hard to imagine how we ever lived without Photoshop, huh? Now that I'm into digital photography, it's even better! The photo of Kim & Gary is MUCH better without the butt, LOL. She'll love it.
Hey! I know those people *grin*
Kelley I am still in awe of what you did to my pictures. It is beautiful now. It is amazing that you can't even tell you made changes to it, had you not seen the before picture! Thanks so much for your work on it and I may try to commission you out in the future for help as well. I am so not hip with these programs. Thanks again for doing it! And I am glad that you made the changes to it that you would have done to your own, that is exactly what I wanted you to do!
