So, in honor of this happy mood, I'll post in a lighthearted vein...
I was inspired today by Desiree's blog post about Girl Crushes! As girls, we usually have other girl celebrities that we want to be like, that we admire, etc...I wouldn't want to KISS any of these women, not THAT kind of crush! :) So here's my list:
1) Jennifer Aniston :: LOVE her! If I could choose to be anyone in the world, I would be her...{of course, without the Brad divorce and all!}...I would love to have her hair, her body, her personality. And her comic timing is pretty damn good too! She's someone I could definitely be friends with...
2) Gwyneth Paltrow :: Gwyneth seems to have such a calm soul. She's so comfortable in her skin. She is like the Golden Girl, glowing and serene.
3) Marisa Miller :: Man, I'd almost kill to have this body. Wow. Long and lean and tan and glowing and perfect. Sure, there's airbrushing {right????}, but even on one of her bad days, I'd love to look like this. I also love her overall 'look'...she can be sexy, she can be angelic girl next door...she's got it all...
4) Kelly Ripa :: What I like most about Kelly is her personality...it's so dang bubbly and positive and happy and outgoing. It's how I strive to be a lot of the time...also really love her hair...I tried to get mine to look like that for awhile, and it just never looked quite this good!
5) Kate Hudson :: There's just something about her...she's got "it"...she's such a free spirit, so secure in who she is, and she seems so FUN.
I thought I might also list the girls I really DO NOT like...these girls just rub me the wrong way:
1) Gwen Stefani :: She is such a "cartoonish" human being...her style drives me nuts, her white hair, her insane red lipstick, her asian girl posse. Everyone thinks she is so trendsetting...I would never be caught dead looking like her! Not to mention she married one of my favorite guys, Gavin Rossdale!!!
2) Angelina Jolie :: I didn't like her way before the whole Jennifer - Brad - Angelina drama, but now I like her even less! Those lips are just nasty, and her freakiness just bores me.
3) Britney Murphy :: Another one with the lips! Ick. Her voice annoys me, her laugh is raunchy, she seems so trashy to me. Ick.

I knew that Jennifer Anniston would be your #1, before I scrolled down! How funny is that? Not a big fan of Angelina or Gwen either, but I have no strong feelings about Britney. Can you believe that Kenneth thinks Gwen is hot?!? Ugh. Sometimes he thinks some of the trashiest women are hot, which makes me worry about myself!!
Babe, your picks are right on the money, with the exception of one - Britney. That girl is off the chain!
You are at the top of my list of hotties though. So, there is no need for you to worry about me running off to Hollywood in search of some "dirty" girl.
I'm with you on most fronts, Jenn is such a cutie(IRL too)! but i did like britney in "clueless," before she got big. and i'm definitely and angelina fan. sorry. love the post!
I almost thought I was on the wrong blog when I saw Gwen Stefani on the list ~ I skipped the part of which list she was on!!! I remember how you said she was so skanky and with Gavin ~ how could he! Gave me a laugh as I thought you had turned over a new leaf...
man, I shoulda thought of Jennifer and Kelly...I love them. I agree with you on the Angelina thing- I think she has "dead person" lips. I just can't get past them. Yuk.
